How cute is this?
And this!?
These may be your first glimpse of PowderPuff Beauty and the PowderPuff Squad, but surely they won't be your last. Keep reading for more details...
LA makeup artist Nidia Alire founded PowderPuff Squad, Inc not too long ago, in 2006. Most makeup artists face the same dilemma Nidia did: having good products to take on set, on location, without having to take the kitchen sink and a million other things! Her answer was to create this line of makeup and tools for professionals and consumers. I love artist lines that are everyday-person friendly!
I also love the cases, which are refillable - such a nice idea, and environment-friendly. And they aren't going to get all chipped or skanky in your kit (or makeup bag), either- they're a nice vinyl-style material with a cushion-y interior. Oh, there's a mirror inside the single cases, too, which rocks! I hate rooting around in my bag for a product then rooting around again for a mirror. Grrr!
I got to test a Double Agent called Hana. What's a Double Agent, you ask? Creamy, sheer color that you can use on your lips or on your cheeks. Brilliant! Described as "creme bright berry", Hana can be used to give a bright shine to the mouth and a rosy glow to the face. Great to keep in the bag in case of emergency - exactly where mine has been since I got it! And don't think I haven't gone in there a lot to get it for midday touch-ups when I'm feeling dull and washed-out!
Oh- Doubles Agents are only $14! Can you believe it!? Check them out online at PowderPuff Squad! (And keep an eye out for them - you'll see them everywhere soon enough)
