Yigal Azrouel | Artist: Polly Osmond
This is such a classic runway look! I love the rock-and-roll eye and the nude lip, and it worked with this collection nicely. The clothes were mostly blacks and nudes, and the eyes fit right in. This is surely a look we'll all be able to do this Fall! Notice that Polly Osmond used Studio Sculpt Foundation (on both the face and the lips!).
Nicole Miller | Artist: James Kaliardos
James Kaliardos is one of my favorite MAC artists, and this look is a pretty good example of why. First, the Nicole Miller collection was accented with pops of royal blue, so the eye worked really well to help tie the looks together. Second, the blue chosen worked well with all of the skintones of the models. Third, this look was classic but not - and I like that! I've noticed a lot of looks this Spring involve the shadow being brushed into the brow, and it seems like this isn't going to change this Fall. Loving the BlushCreme as lip color, by the way!
A sexy retro look from Luc Bouchard (to me: the 1940's meets the 1980's), using some of my favorite tricks! Loving the MSF Naturals as countour - this is a nice way to ensure your contour doesn't go too crazy! And Silver Dusk Iridescent Powder is amazing to create a glow and play off a bit of highlight as tension against the contouring. I love these shades (Chestnut and Nightmoth) on the lips, but it really works best after the lip conditioner, as described here. Too bad all of the models looked grumpy...
