Ginger + Liz Blowin' Money Fast
Packaging:
This was one of Ginger + Liz's small bottles, and it has a sticker label on the front. Their normal size bottles are printed with the name of the company and the color is on the bottom.
Appearance:
A deep blue-green, slightly more blue-toned than what I consider "emerald". It looks even less so in indirect light, but is not dark enough to be black. In the sun, the fine green shimmer really wakes this polish up even more!
Application:
Most Ginger + Liz polishes glide right on; this is no exception. No drag, no pooling. The brush is excellent, which helps - just the right length and picks up just the right amount of polish.
Performance/Wear:
At the end of the second day of pretty rough treatment, The Ninja started to see some tip wear. On the fifth day, without a chip to be seen, she was bored so she took it off.
Comments:
Oddly, Mr. Ninja loves this shade. Usually he only raises an interested eyebrow over red or vampy shades.
Who Should Try it:
Those who love green polishes, those who love a good shimmer, someone looking for a new dark polish that satisfies this Fall's jewel-tone trend.
Who Should Skip it:
This blue-green might not work well on folks with really warm undertones. Some people might balk at the pricetag, but for such an exemplary formula and brush, it's well worth it to The Ninja. Otherwise, unless you hate green polish there's no reason to steer clear.
Ginger + Liz nail polishes are $12 each. You can buy them here.
