Runway looks are hard to translate into Real Life, aren't they? They sometimes are just too wacky to give any thought, but sometimes there are some pretty looks and great ideas! But runway isn't quite what works at the office, the grocery store, or even over drinks. Let's talk about translating those trends to real life!
Gorgeous glowy skin is never "out". Especially in Spring! And this fresh and youthful look needs little tweaking, which is nice.

Sure, we aren't all D&G models, but we can still rock the glowy nude look!
Key elements:
- Exfoliated skin (no dry patches, roughness)
- Hydration (moisturized skin "glows" and looks youthful)
- A soft natural flush (pink works on everyone - just match the inside of your lip, as weird as that sounds!)
- Moist and natural lips (get rid of roughness, chapping)
- Full-but-natural brows (fill in sparse areas lightly, brush hairs upwards to add fullness)
- Added glow (if needed)
I recommend a hydrating primer over moistuizer for extra radiance (Stila's is nice). Foundation or cover-up in cream or liquid will look most skin-like, but only put it where needed to even tone and hide redness. Place some foundation on the eyelid if you need to even out the colors there, and one coat of brown-black mascara is plenty. Cream blushes look most natural; place it on the apples of the cheeks lightly and blend with fingertips. If more glow is needed, use a creamy luminizer like MAC Cream Color Base (Luna is a favorite). Bobbi Brown's Lip Balm has soothing butters that soften the lips and give a nice gleam. It also has caffeinne in it, which gives a painless healthy pink boost to lips that looks natural and gorgeous (a must-have product!).
What do you think? Will you get naked this Spring?
