DC-area Divas - you need to go to Sephora, Georgetown on 10-15-09!

Awhile ago, I told you how awesome it is that Temptu has now made a product that non-pros can use. I mean, professional makeup artists have known how sweet Temptu airbrush products are for a long time. But now you don't have to use tools or products that give "an airbrush-like finish" - now you can use an actual airbrush at home and get the flawless look you've been trying to fake!

On Thursday, October 15th, 2009, you can learn about Temptu personal airbrush systems from Temptu themselves! The Temptu National Artists will be on-site at Sephora in Georgetown (Washington, DC) from 12 - 6 that day, so go and take advantage of their amazing knowledge!

Temptu no longer just for Pros!

Makeup mavens are getting more and more savvy, and the market is starting to reflect that. Known to makeup artists around the world as the premier source for airbrushes (see raves from pros here), the name TEMPTU may be new to the average cosmetics consumer. Well, TEMPTU hopes to cash in on the attention that pro-oriented brands Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and Illamasqua are getting to change that by opening up a consumer-oriented branch, despite their "Created for Pros, by Pros" tagline. In fact, they're really revamping their entire brand presence: recently they recreated their logo and packaging, added a Pro Artist Membership Program, and plan to offer pro-only Master Classes.

As for the consumer products, here's the scoop:

• The tagline for the consumer line is "The High-def Pro Finish. Without the Pro". Hmm... wonder how their pros will feel about that? 
• The results: a camera-ready yet natural appearance, a versatile and precise  method of application that provides coverage and correction while being hygienic and efficient. 
• Coverage is adjustable, giving you what you want, where you want it (you can go sheer, get medium coverage, or go all the way to full coverage).
• They've got some before-and-after shots on their website so you can see how well the products work. 
• They offer "airbrush pods" that pair with a compact, easy-to-use compressor to deliver a fine spray of foundation, blush and highlighter without having to worry about a complicated, large, and expensive airbrush system. Read more here.

The line will be available at Sephora.com and Sephora stores throughout the US.
